This Week at the Market

This Week — May 16, 2021

It’s great to be back! Thanks to our many friends, old and new, who joined us for last week’s opening of the summer season of Brighton Farmers’ Market. Supporting our local farmers and producers has never been more important, and we’re grateful to the community that recognizes the value of the efforts of these hard-working women and men. We look forward to another great season!

Important Note about Safety Guidelines

As more people are getting vaccinated against Covid-19, we welcome the increasing sense of safety and return to normalcy that this entails. However, under guidelines issued by the State of New York, masks and social distancing are still required at all NY farmers’ markets. Until those guidelines are changed, masks covering nose and mouth are still required at Brighton Farmers’ Market.

EBT/SNAP Bonus Program

Brighton Farmers’ Market is pleased to offer SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) customers the opportunity to purchase tokens using their SNAP benefits, which can be used to buy SNAP eligible foods at the Market. Any SNAP customer who purchases $5 in tokens with SNAP benefits will also receive a bonus $2 FreshConnect Check to purchase eligible Market products.
