Winter Market Opens Nov. 3

Winter Market

Thanks to all farmers, vendors, and customers for a great 2013 summer season.  And the goodness doesn’t end with colder weather; the Brighton Winter Farmers’ Market opens November 3 and will be held every Sunday afternoon from 1 to 4 throughout the winter. This year more farmers than ever have planned and planted for late season harvest and crop storage, and there will be plenty of good local food available at the market all winter long.  It will be held at 220 Idlewood Road, in the Brookside Center gymnasium.  There is an additional entrance to the building off of S. Winton Rd., between Westfall Road and 590. In addition to the other challenges farmers face, the long upstate winter means a shortened season in which farmers can earn a living, so your year-round support is greatly appreciated.

The Brighton Farmers’ Market is sponsored by the Town of Brighton.

See you Sunday!
