This Week at the Market

This Week — October 22, 2023

Feeling spooky? As far as we know, there are no goblins or witches at Brighton Farmers’ Market, but you might see some mysterious creatures, never to be seen at a local supermarket. Our farmers grow unusual, quirky, not-too-scary veggies and fruits for those who are terrified of boring food. Please join us, rain or shine!

The main season of the Market continues through November 19, 9 to 1 in the high school parking lot. The late season begins November 26 and continues throughout the winter. We’re excited that our new winter market location on Westfall Road is nearing completion; information on our move into that facility will be posted on our website and included in the weekly newsletter.

Music at the Market

We welcome Peter Hasler and Friends to the music tent.

Community Groups

Representatives from Eastern Service Workers Association will offer information about its services.

EBT/SNAP Bonus Program

Brighton Farmers’ Market is pleased to offer SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) customers the opportunity to purchase tokens using their SNAP benefits, which can be used to buy SNAP eligible foods at the Market. We’re excited to be able to offer the new expanded FreshConnect bonus program to our SNAP/EBT customers! For every $2 spent in SNAP benefits receive a $2 bonus check. (limit of 25 checks or $50 per cardholder per day). Stop by the Market tent!
