Eco-Fair at the Market
Eco-Fair
This Sunday, June 14, ColorBrightonGreen.org hosts its annual Eco Fair/Green Energy Fair at the Brighton Farmers’ Market. Exhibitors will offer information on a wide range of environmental issues, and there will be a silent auction. Exhibitors include Braddock Bay Raptor Research, Genesee Land Trust, Rochester Solar and Wind, Sustainable Energy Developments, and many more. ColorBrightonGreen.org is a wonderful volunteer-run organization that promotes a more sustainable way of life for Brighton residents, businesses, and government. For more information, please see http://colorbrightongreen.org/category/green-events/green-energy-fair/. Thanks to the ColorBrightonGreen.org volunteers, who each week collect hard-to-recycle items at the Market.

Why Support Brighton Farmers’ Market?
Thanks to a friend of Brighton Farmers’ Market, who sent us the following reminder:
A core objective of the Brighton Farmers Market is to promote local and sustainable agriculture.
This is a “pay it forward” enterprise!
Up-front costs of sustainably and locally-produced agricultural products may be higher, but long-term costs associated with many non-local commercial products include: environmental degradation (air, water, and soil), excessive use of fossil fuels, and poor labor practices.
Thank you for supporting your local farmers!
See you Sunday!
