Celebrating AAPI Heritage Month

In honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we are delighted to welcome students from the Chinese School of Rochester to the Market this Sunday. Beginning at 10:50, students will perform traditional Chinese dance, and the School Orchestra will perform. Students will also demonstrate Chinese calligraphy. In addition, members of the Asian Student Association at Brighton High School will offer information about the organization’s work to represent the Asian population at the school and honor the rich and diverse culture of Asia.

Community Groups

Councilmember on Your Corner returns to the Market; members of Brighton’s Town Board will be on hand to discuss issues important to the community. Also, members of Brighton’s IDEA Board will offer information on efforts to support and honor diversity in the Town.
