Busy Day at the Market
This Week — September 29, 2024
A lot is happening this week at the Market! It’s our annual Public Safety Day! We welcome representatives from Brighton’s Fire Department, Police Department, Volunteer Ambulance, and Highway Department, along with other organizations committed to preserving public safety. They’ll bring trucks and other equipment and offer information on keeping our homes and families safe. Kids are especially welcome!
We will also celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month this Sunday. At 9:30 representatives from Rochester’s Latino Theatre Company will join us to offer poetry and music honoring Latino culture and heritage.
And finally, at 11:00 am the Country Dancers of Rochester will invite all to join them in some Contra Dancing, guided by caller Margaret Mathews. Come on, everybody, don’t be shy!
