March at the Market

This Week – March 1, 2020
A suggestion for an excellent and appropriate way to welcome March (in like a lion?): have a pancake party as an excuse to open a new bottle of Wohlschlegel’s maple syrup. This week Bobbi will have everything maple: bourbon barrel aged maple syrup, maple mustard; maple BBQ sauce; maple cotton candy; maple coated almonds, cashews, and pecans; traditional, cinnamon, and raspberry maple cream spread; pure NYS maple syrup in flavors golden, amber, dark, and very dark; granulated maple sugar; maple garlic rub; maple coffee and tea; wheat-free oatmeal maple dog treats; soft and hard sugar shapes; and body-care products — maple vanilla soap, lotion, and lip balm.
Clearview Farm is bringing organically-nourished, truly free-range eggs, 100% grass-grown (no grain) Angus beef steaks, roasts, ground, liver, stew meat, and short ribs; dried herbs (tulsi tea, nettle tea, lemon basil, dill), and Genesee Valley dry beans (black and cannellini). Bolton Farms will have bibb lettuce, spring mix, lettuce bouquets, arugula, tatsoi, bok choi, escarole, parsley, mustard greens, micro greens, pea shoots, and kale.
Shannon Brook Farm is bringing certified organic, pasture-raised heritage breed pork: all smoked products are no-nitrate — hams, ham slices, hocks, and four types of bacon; shoulder roasts, spare ribs, country-style ribs, ground, minute steaks, chops, six types of sausage, soup bones, liver, and leaf lard; grass-fed lamb raised on organic pastures: shoulder and leg roasts, half-sized leg roasts, ground, shanks, loin, rib, leg, and shoulder chops, short ribs, and tallow; certified organic, free-range poultry: whole pekin ducks, duck necks and feet, whole and half broiler chickens, certified organic stew hens, and certified organic, free-range chicken eggs.
Andy’s Specialty Produce will have certified organic pea shoots, sunflower shoots, radish micro greens, carrots, red beets, red potatoes, and yellow onions. Stonecrop Farm will have fresh pasture-raised heritage breed pork chops, loin rib roasts, shoulder roasts, shoulder steaks, spare ribs, kabob meat, Italian sausage (hot and mild), breakfast sausage, ground pork, deli ham, ham steaks, smoked bacon, smoked hocks, bones, organ meats, and rendered lard.

Newbury Park Pastries will have chicken, shepherds, panang, steak & stout, and veggie pot pies along with pecan rugelach and shamrock cut out cookies. Tripleberry Farm will have pesticide-free frozen strawberries and blueberries, plus pesticide-free berry jams and peach jam.
