Chase the chill this week at Brighton Farmers’ Market! There will be lots of good things to warm you up, such as these hot and spicy peppers, certified organic, from Lakestone Family Farm.  It’s also a great week for soups and stews; you’ll find everything you need  for the soup pot at the Market this week.

Deep Root Farm is bringing salad mix, kohlrabi, kale, chard, carrots, peppers, hot peppers, and onions. Growing Family Farms will also have certified organic peppers plus tomatoes, escarole, endive, romaine, romano beans, fall mesclun, arugula, baby kale, lettuce mix, buttercup squash, delicata squash, cucumbers, Italian dandelion, kale, and Singer Farm Naturals tart cherry juice.

Fellenz Family Farm is bringing arugula, mesclun mix, lacinato kale, Siberian kale, red Russian kale, Starbor kale, sweet and bell peppers, potatoes, sweet and cooking onions, red onions, celeriac, fresh herb bunches, apples (Enterprise, Gold Rush, and Jonagold de Coster), and Wild Thistle herbal products — teas, salves, natural skin care products, and herbal extracts. Andy’s Specialty Garlic & Produce will have certified organic carrots, sweet potatoes, salad mix, spinach, arugula, baby kale, green romaine, red leaf and green leaf lettuce, green beans, yellow onions, red beets, parsley, green summer cabbage, red radishes, salad turnips, red and yellow potatoes, pea shoots, and garlic.

Bristol Mushrooms is bringing shiitake and lion’s mane mushroom, fresh picked and certified organic. Lighthouse Gardens will have certified organic cherry and grape tomatoes; sweet Italian frying, jalapeno, and poblano peppers; eggplant; celery; garlic; green beans; lettuce bouquets; salad mix; beets; carrots; cabbage; kale; ground cherries; a large assortment of succulents; and fall chrysanthemums.

K&S Bischoping will have quince and lots of apples — Honey Crisp, Jonagold, Gold Delicious, Winesap, Northern Spy, Gala, Crispin, Empire, and Macoun, plus heirlooms including Hubbardston, Caville Blanc, Roxbury Russet, Orange Pippin, and Snow. Happy Hooves Organic Farm is bringing cuts of 100% grass-fed and grass-finished Hereford beef, cuts of pasture-raised heritage breed pork including some from American Guinea hogs, roaster chickens from the pastured Freedom Ranger flock, and raw wildflower honey; all animals are raised on pasture without soy, corn, or wheat.

Shannon Brook Farm is featuring grass-fed lamb loin chops, leg of lamb roasts, and a variety of organically-processed, grass-fed lamb sausages. Clearview Farm is bringing certified organic winter pears, the last Baby Flower watermelons, peppers (poblano, jalapeno, habanero, and sweet green), tasty red Roma and slicing tomatoes, green tomatoes, red Swiss chard, Sunburst patty pan summer squash, green acorn and carnival winter squash, Tulsi (holy) basil, dill, garlic, catnip, spearmint, eggs, buckwheat, and organically-fed 100% grass-grown Black Angus beef including steaks, roasts, ground beef, and assorted cuts.

Stonecrop Farm is bringing fresh certified organic whole chickens, boneless breasts, leg quarters, frames, and organ meats, as well as fresh pasture raised pork chops, shoulder roasts, steaks, sausage, ground pork, bacon, deli ham, bones, trotters, organ meats, and fat. Shady Lane Farm is bringing sweet potatoes, edamame, leeks, onions, assorted squash including butternut and acorn, pie pumpkins, Yukon gold potatoes, shishito and sweet peppers, rainbow chard, decorative gourds, Italian parsley and sage, and fresh-cut flower bouquets.

Wohlschlegel’s Naples Maple Farm is bringing bourbon barrel aged maple syrup; maple BBQ sauce; maple cotton candy; maple coated cashews and pecans; traditional, cinnamon, and raspberry maple cream spread; maple mustard; pure NYS maple syrup in golden, amber, dark, and very dark; granulated maple sugar; maple garlic rub; maple coffee and tea; wheat free oatmeal maple dog treats; soft and hard sugar shapes; and body care products — maple vanilla soap, lotion, and lip balm.

Brian’s Kitchen is bringing cookies, granola bars, chocolate fudge, and reusabale bags. Tripleberry Farm will have pesticide-free, traditional and reduced sugar jams, chocolate caramel fancy dipped apples, several unique flavors of fudge, and goat milk soaps.

RocBucha is bringing bottled kombucha in apple-cinnamon, pumpkin-clove, blueberry-mint, and strawberry-basil; on tap will be Noto Fruit Farm apple-cinnamon, pear, pineapple-ginger, and Stonecrop Farm ginger in limited quantity. Joe at Lavender Moon says he will be chillin’ at the Market with all your herbal needs: soaps, salves, lotions, and fall culinary treats including fair trade flavored hot cocoa mixes and elderberry elixir for an immunity boost.

Pasta Classics will have fall ravioli flavors including pumpkin and sweet potato craisin, heat and serve ravioli bakes, and handmade strombolis. Newbury Park Pastries is bringing chicken, veggie, shepherds, and panang pot pies, and, weather permitting, sweet pies and pumpkin cookies.

JonJohn’s Bakery is bringing bourbon bread pudding, pumpkin cheesecake, sweet potato tarts, carrot cake, chocolate chip and oatmeal cranberry cookies, lemon blueberry cake, grandma’s breakfast cake, peanut butter balls, chocolate dipped bourbon balls, mom’s mac and cheese, apple pie, and blueberry and mixed berry muffins.

Impact Earth is offering a food waste and compostable wares hauling service at the Market; pick up a bucket and pay a deposit, return your filled bucket next week, and pick up a clean new bucket. Thanks to Impact Earth for collecting trash and recycling at the Market each week to promote our efforts to be a zero-waste Market.
