Time to Preorder!

Brighton Farmers’ Market opens this Sunday, May 24!  To provide as much safety as possible, all sales will be by preorder, and the time to preorder is now! Several vendors ask for orders to be in by Friday for Sunday pickup. Below is a list with links to each vendor’s site where you can find and select from products available. Then stop by the Market on Sunday, pick up your prepaid items, and off you go! The other safety measures to be followed are listed below under the vendor list. As with most COVID-related policies, these measures are considered temporary and subject to change when it is safe to do so. A map of Sunday’s layout can be found below.   • All sales will take place through preordering and prepayment. Links to individual vendor sites to make it easy to preorder are listed below. This information will be regularly updated on the Market’s website and weekly newsletters. All product will be prepackaged.
  • SNAP and FMNP customers are welcome as always and will also preorder all product.  Contact information for preordering is listed below under each vendor’s name. SNAP customers will pay with their benefits cards at the Market booth (please have the dollar amount of items preordered and vendor names with you) and transactions will take place without tokens. FMNP customers will give coupons directly to vendors. No credit/debit tokens will be sold.
  • The first hour on Market day (9-10) will be reserved for seniors and vulnerable individuals. In order to space out attendance, we ask other customers to come during the hour that corresponds to the first letter of their last name: A through H — 10-11; I through P — 11-12; Q through Z — 12-1). One individual per family should attend, and we ask that dogs stay home.
  • All vendors and customers must wear face masks.
  • Social distancing must be maintained — six feet between individuals. We will space tents as far apart as possible.
  • Vendors will maintain safe spaces — surfaces wiped with disinfectant spray, and hand sanitizer at every booth.
  • We ask customers not to touch product, to leave quickly when done, and to stay home if sick.
