This Week at the Market

This Week — May 3, 2026

Thanks to all for a wonderful Opening Day of our summer season! Farmers and producers were back with plenty of early spring goodness, and a great crowd turned out to enjoy the bounty. The new location for the year was a big hit — lots of room to stroll and park. We’re excited for this new season, our 19th; please join us!

Parking Info

Our temporary location for the year, Golisano Institute for Business and Entrepreneurship at 150 Sawgrass Drive (at Westfall), offers plenty of parking, with spaces in the front lot and more along the side and rear of the building. Handicapped spaces are located next to the Market by the food trucks. Please note — there is no parking at the neighboring Islamic Center.

Music at the Market

We welcome Watkins & the Rapiers to the music tent.

Community Groups

Bri-Pen Senior Rides will offer information on its volunteer service that provides rides to seniors in the Brighton and Penfield area for medical appointments and religious services, with info on how to volunteer.

Reconnect Rochester will have information on its efforts to promote better transportation choices in our area.

Brighton Food Cupboard

Please consider donating to the Brighton Food Cupboard to help its efforts to support a stronger local food system for all.

SNAP at the Market — plus FreshConnect bonus checks

Brighton Farmers’ Market is pleased to offer SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) customers the opportunity to purchase tokens using their SNAP benefits, which can be used to buy SNAP eligible foods at the Market. We’re excited to be able to offer the FreshConnect bonus program to our SNAP/EBT customers! For every $2 spent in SNAP benefits receive a $2 bonus check. (limit of 25 checks or $50 per cardholder per day). Stop by the Market table!
