This week Cabin Fever returns to Brookside! The Town of Brighton Recreation Department is hosting this annual shopping event and open house, and Brighton Your Wardrobe is offering a sale on gently-used clothing for the whole family. Pick up your food for the week at the Market, then stop by these special events for some winter fun and shopping.

This week Clearview Farm is bringing organically-nourished, truly free-range eggs, 100% grass-grown (no grain) Angus beef, and dried herbs (tulsi tea, nettle tea, lemon basil, dill, catnip, and spearmint). Andy’s Specialty Produce will have certified organic salad mix, pea shoots, sunflower shoots, carrots, red beets, red potatoes, and yellow onions.

Shannon Brook Farm is bringing certified organic, pasture-raised heritage breed pork: no-nitrate smoked hams, ham slices, hocks, and four types of no-nitrate bacon; shoulder roasts, boneless loin roasts, spare ribs, country-style ribs, ground, minute steaks, chops, six types of sausage, soup bones, organs, and leaf lard; grass-fed lamb raised on organic pastures: shoulder and leg roasts, half-sized leg roasts, ground, shanks, loin, rib, leg, shoulder and neck chops, rack, short ribs, organs, soup bones, and tallow; certified organic, free-range poultry: whole pekin ducks, duck necks and feet, whole and half broiler chickens, chicken necks, certified organic stew hens, and certified organic, free-range chicken eggs.

Bolton Farms will have lettuce bouquets, arugula, spring mix, bibb lettuce, cilantro, parsley, escarole, dandelion greens, micro greens, pea shoots, and butternut squash. Stonecrop Farm will have fresh pasture-raised heritage breed pork chops, shoulder roasts, shoulder steaks, tenderloin, spare ribs, kabob meat, Italian sausage (hot and mild), breakfast sausage, ground pork, deli ham, ham steaks, smoked bacon, smoked hocks, fat, bones, organ meats, and rendered lard.

Bristol Mushrooms will have fresh-picked king oyster and lion’s mane mushrooms, certified organic, and Brain Booster lion’s mane powder, coffee, and tea. Wohlschlegel’s Naples Maple Farm is bringing bourbon barrel aged maple syrup, maple mustard; maple BBQ sauce; maple cotton candy; maple coated almonds, cashews, and pecans; traditional, cinnamon, and raspberry maple cream spread; pure NYS maple syrup in flavors golden, amber, dark, and very dark; granulated maple sugar; maple garlic rub; maple coffee and tea; wheat-free oatmeal maple dog treats; soft and hard sugar shapes; and body-care products — maple vanilla soap, lotion, and lip balm.

Brian’s Kitchen is bringing four varieties of traditional cookies, four gluten-free/vegan varieties, four varieties of granola bars, and chocolate fudge, with or without nuts. JonJohn’s Bakery will have Mom’s mac & cheese, beyond chocolate cake, peanut butter balls, lemon blueberry cake, frosted sugar cookies, and oatmeal cranberry cookies.

Lavender Moon will have herbal products including soaps, salves, lotions, teas, culinary blends, and flavored fair trade cocoa mixes. Tripleberry Farm is bringing pesticide-free frozen blueberries and strawberries, pesticide-free berry jams, and peach jams.

Impact Earth will have the full line of zero waste lifestyle reusable wares plus sign-ups for organics drop-off service.
