Brighton Farmers’ Market will glow with vibrant September colors this Sunday. Chicory Blue Gardens will have brilliantly colored zinnias, dahlias, statice, ornamental grasses, sorghum, celosia in stunning pink and orange, lemon basil, and gomphrena. Shady Lane Farm is bringing colorful mixed flower bouquets plus cherry and beefsteak tomatoes, edamame, Beauregard sweet potatoes, Swiss chard, melons, snap beans, garlic, Yukon Gold potatoes, cucumbers, and butternut and acorn squash.

Andy’s Specialty Garlic & Produce will have certified organic plum tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes, salad mix, arugula, baby kale, green romaine and red leaf lettuce, yellow onions, red beets, green zucchini, cilantro, green summer cabbage, red radishes, salad turnips, red and yellow potatoes, pea and sunflower shoots, and garlic. Bolton Farms will have lettuce bouquets, spring mix, arugula, watercress, Red Russian kale, curly kale, bok choi, basil, heirloom tomatoes, mustard greens, squash (butternut, acorn, and spaghetti), and the last sweet corn of the season.

K&S Bischoping will have raspberries, blackberries, peaches, nectarines, and lots of apples including Honeycrisp, Mac, Gala, and Zestar!, and will add Jonathan to the heirloom varieties. Happy Hooves Organic Farm is bringing cuts of 100% grass-fed and grass-finished Hereford beef, cuts of pasture-raised pork including some from American Guinea hogs, and fresh raw honey; all meats and eggs are raised without soy, corn, or wheat and are certified organic.

Stonecrop Farm
is bringing certified organic ginger and turmeric; fresh cuts of pasture-raised pork including chops, shoulder roasts, spare ribs, sausage, ground pork, bacon, deli ham, hocks, feet, soup bones, and organ meat; and fresh certified organic whole chickens, boneless breast, leg quarters, backs, and feet. Growing Family Farms will have certified organic sweet peppers in bulk quantities, poblanos, habaneros, jalapenos, tomatoes (heirloom, grape, cherry, and bulk Roma), romaine lettuce, fall crisp butter salad mix, pea shoots, eggplant, scallions, baby potatoes, onions, kale, chard, golden beets, summer squash, organic Asian pears, Romanesco beans, and Singer Farm Naturals tart cherry juice.

Shannon Brook Farm is featuring certified organic, heritage breed, pasture-raised pork butt roasts for pulled pork and rope-style pork sausages for grilling: kielbasa, chorizo, andouille, and hot and mild Italian. Clearview Farm is bringing certified organic slicing and pickling cucumbers, Sunburst patty pan summer squash, zucchini for bread and cooking, basil (Genovese, lemon, and Tulsi for calming effects), dill, slicing and paste tomatoes, garlic, catnip, spearmint, eggs, dry black beans, buckwheat, and organically-fed 100% grass-grown Black Angus beef including steaks, roasts, ground beef, and assorted cuts.

Fellenz Family Farm is bringing certified organic watermelon, pumpkins, gourds, lettuce, garlic, yellow and red onions, sweet onions, scallions, leeks, potatoes, delicata squash, sweet dumpling squash, Honey Blond melons, green and purple beans, tomatoes, eggplant, and sweet and hot peppers. Bristol Mushrooms will have certified organic lion’s mane mushrooms.

Lighthouse Gardens will have organic cherry, saladette, and slicing tomatoes; sweet peppers; hot peppers; eggplant; summer squash and striped zucchini; celery; lettuce bouquets; baby salad greens; five kinds of radishes; hakurei turnips; garlic; scallions; green beans; rattlesnake pole beans; carrots; cabbage; kale; ground cherries; honey; cut sunflowers. herb and vegetable transplants; succulents in pots, planters, and hanging baskets; perennials; hostas; herb planters; berry plants; organic potting soil; and fall chrysanthemums.

Lakestone Family Farm is bringing Swiss chard, Tuscan and curly kale, beets, napa cabbage, celery, green onions, purslane, summer squash, string beans, cucumbers, yellow sauce tomatoes, San Marzano tomatoes in canning quantities (ask about multi box pricing), field grown heirloom tomatoes including four quart quantities, cherry and slicing tomatoes, potatoes, sweet and hot peppers, eggplant, pasture-raised eggs including jumbo eggs and 18 count and dozen count, whole fresh chickens, and chicken pieces — all certified organic.

Seaway Trail Honey is bringing late summer honey, — a medium amber honey with a robust taste; raw, pure, local summer honey — a pale, amber honey; early summer honey — a light sweet honey from basswood/linden blossoms and other wildflowers; and dark fall honey; honeycomb; cute mini bears; gift packs; certified Kosher; nuts in honey; infused honeys; pure beeswax; and candles, all from the small scale, small batch apiary near Pultneyville by Lake Ontario; see live bees in an observation hive for the non-profit NY Bee Wellness.

Wohlschlegel’s Naples Maple Farm is bringing barrel aged maple syrup; maple BBQ sauce; maple cotton candy; maple coated cashews and pecans; traditional, cinnamon, and raspberry maple cream spread; maple mustard; pure NYS maple syrup in golden, amber, dark, and very dark; granulated maple sugar; maple garlic rub; maple coffee and tea; wheat free oatmeal maple dog treats; soft and hard sugar shapes; and body care products — maple vanilla soap, lotion, and lip balm.

RocBucha is bringing bottled kombucha in blueberry-mint, strawberry-basil, ginger, pineapple-ginger, and new flavors apple-cinnamon and pumpkin-clove; on tap will be pineapple-ginger, apple-cinnamon, and blueberry-mint. Lavender Moon is bringing soaps, salves, lotions, culinary blends, gourds for fall decorating, and complimentary cups of hibiscus cooler tea; Joe is offering a fall special on Bug Off! insect repellent.

Pasta Classics will have ravioli flavors feta & spinach, three cheese, and butternut squash (from Fisher Hill Farm) plus strombolis and fresh-cut pasta. Newbury Park Pastries is bringing chicken, veggie, shepherds, panang, pulled pork, Asian short rib, and shrimp panang pot pies plus seasonal fruit pies and tarts and cut out cookies.

Tripleberry Farm is bringing traditional and reduced sugar pesticide-free jams and goat milk soaps. Brian’s Kitchen will have old-fashioned traditional cookies plus gluten-free and vegan, chocolate fudge, chocolate chip and peanut granola bars, almond and coconut granola bars, and reusable bags.

JonJohn’s Bakery is bringing lemonade, mom’s mac & cheese, carrot cake, three layer lemon berry cake, chocolate chip cookies, blueberry pie, cheesecake brownies, peanut butter balls, oatmeal cranberry cookies, chocolate dipped bourbon balls, and zucchini bread.

Impact Earth is offering a food waste and compostble wares hauling service at the Market; pick up a bucket and pay a deposit, return your filled bucket next week, and pick up a clean new bucket. Thanks to Impact Earth for collecting trash and recycling at the Market each week to promote our efforts to be a zero-waste Market.
